This is a remote, full-time direct position for a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) Senior Engineer. You will execute tactical tasks as part of customer-aligned digital engineering delivery teams, supporting the adoption of Model-Based Definition (MBD) across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain environments. The role focuses on driving digital transformation by assisting in supplier capability assessments, developing roadmaps, and maturing suppliers toward NSE MBE Maturity Index Level 4 adoption.
You will contribute to the development and modernization of MBD standards, advising on the transition from traditional 2D drawing practices to model-based workflows. Your work will involve authoring and validating MBD datasets for pilot programs and exploratory workflows, while collaborating with software vendors to test and improve MBD authoring and validation tools. Additionally, you will support organizational capability development by delivering training and mentorship on MBD authoring and downstream consumption.

ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Certification. Experience applying Model-Based Definition (MBD) in CAD systems beyond Siemens NX, such as PTC Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks. Working knowledge of Siemens digital engineering tools, including NX advanced modules (Fibersim, Mechanical Routing, Electrical Routing, PMI Advisor, Check-Mate, Tolerance Analysis) and familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter applications (Teamcenter Quality, Teamcenter Manufacturing Process Planner, and related PLM capabilities). Experience applying Lean and Agile engineering practices. Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives related to digital engineering or model-based practices.
