About the Role

The Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Services (BJRS) Technician plays a vital role in our collaborative care model, working alongside Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and the broader Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee staff. This position is designed to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare by assisting in multiple aspects of day-to-day rehabilitation services.

In this role, you will be the hands-on support that keeps our therapy sessions running smoothly. You will provide therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, manage linen services, and ensure equipment is maintained and stocked. Your day will involve setting up patients for therapeutic exercises, assisting with check-ins and scheduling, and handling courier duties. While you will not perform clinical decision-making or therapy interventions requiring licensure, your contribution is critical to the patient experience. You will be expected to conduct all interactions with a patient-centric mindset, compassion, and a strict adherence to ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring every patient feels supported and cared for.
