The Rehabilitation Technician is a key associate at Hope Network, dedicated to supporting individuals in achieving their highest level of independence. This role serves as a vital link in providing appropriate intervention, supervision, and support across transitional, long-term care, and home/community-based settings. The primary mission is to ensure optimal health and safety while encouraging personal growth through skilled therapy programs, restorative exercises, vocational services, and social recreation.
Technicians work directly with assigned persons or groups to assist with daily living activities, functional mobility, and cognitive skills. The position requires a blend of clinical support and community engagement, often involving travel to escort residents or consumers in company vehicles. Beyond direct care, the role involves managing inventory, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the efficient operation of facilities and program areas.
At Hope Network, professional behavior is defined by a deep commitment to our mission, values, and policies. We foster a collaborative environment where teamwork and high morale are prioritized. Technicians are expected to act as informal advocates for the people they serve, supporting their right to self-determination, informed decision-making, and personal dignity. We actively promote a culture of integrity, ethics, and continuous learning through staff meetings, training, and team-building initiatives.
