This position is within the ICE | NRSL Respiratory Therapy IP C department, where professionals work under physician direction to provide quality patient care and promote a healthy work environment.
This requisition is designed to fill multiple Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) positions, and new graduates are welcome to apply. As an RRT, you will work within the limits of your license and credentials, adhering to institutional and departmental policies. Your day-to-day will involve performing routine respiratory care procedures, assisting in codes and rapid responses, and managing mechanical ventilators. You will also be responsible for entering patient treatment notes, interacting with the public in a professional manner, and maintaining effective communication with co-workers and management. Employees in this role must be capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment, including N95 masks and Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR).
