About the Role

Based at Avera Pediatric Specialists in Sioux Falls, this Registered Nurse position is dedicated to providing professional nursing care to patients and families. You will serve as a vital link in the healthcare team, communicating with physicians and colleagues to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Your day will involve performing general nursing care, administering prescribed medications, and coordinating clinic activities. You will prepare equipment, assist providers during procedures, and screen patients by obtaining health histories, taking vitals, and conducting nursing assessments. Additionally, you will educate patients and families on diagnostics, medications, and wellness, while managing exam room supplies and ensuring the timely flow of patients.
