About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Avera, you will be the backbone of our clinic, delivering professional nursing care to patients and families under the direction of providers. This role exists to ensure seamless, high-quality patient experiences from the moment they walk through the door.
Your day will involve a dynamic blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities. You will greet patients, conduct nursing assessments, and collect health histories. You will prepare patients for examinations, administer medications, and assist providers during procedures. Beyond direct care, you will coordinate clinic activities, manage appointment flows to prioritize emergencies, and serve as a key communication link between patients and physicians. You will also play a vital role in patient education, guiding families through diagnostic processes, medication management, and wellness maintenance.
