About the Role
This position serves as a vital float role within the Obstetrics & Gynecology department at Plaza 1. As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be the backbone of patient care, providing professional nursing services under the direction of providers. Your day will involve a dynamic blend of clinical duties and patient advocacy, from screening patients and obtaining health histories to administering medications and assisting with procedures.
You will coordinate the flow of patient care activities, ensuring that emergency preferences are prioritized and that exam rooms remain fully stocked and clean. Beyond clinical tasks, you will act as an educator, guiding patients and families through diagnostic processes, medication management, and wellness maintenance. This role requires you to be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly and responding to inquiries with the physician's input, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to safety regulations.
