About the Role

This Registered Nurse position is based at the Avera 69th & Cliff Clinic. The role is designed to provide professional nursing care to patients and families, serving as a vital link between patients, physicians, and the broader healthcare team. You will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities, ensuring a timely flow of patients, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked exam environment.

In this varied shift role, you will perform general nursing care, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and assist providers during procedures and examinations. Your day will involve screening patients by obtaining health histories, taking vitals, and conducting nursing assessments, as well as educating patients and families on diagnostic processes, medications, and wellness maintenance. You will also manage appointment scheduling, respond to patient inquiries, and ensure the proper labeling and quality control of pathology specimens.
