As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are the engine and the heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. The Inpatient Psychiatry Unit (G1) provides specialized care for adults 18 and older at both St. Mary's and Rochester General Hospital. We treat individuals with schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and those receiving Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). Our multidisciplinary treatment team works collaboratively to ensure comprehensive care.
About the Role
In this position, you will play a key role in direct patient care, managing medication administration, de-escalation techniques, diabetic care, and blood draws. You will partner with the interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop individualized plans of care, and utilize available resources to support both patients and their families. This role requires a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered clinical care and continuous professional growth through clinical research utilization.

Requirements
- verifiedDiploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- verifiedRegistered Nurse license in New York State
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. At least 6 months of RN experience.
