We are seeking a part-time, day shift Satellite Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for the practice of professional nursing, encompassing direct patient care and the management of staff assigned to your charge. You may also serve in the role of Charge Nurse, maintaining accountability for professional practice standards. Your work will ensure strict adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations to guarantee compliance and patient safety.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing and a valid New Mexico nursing license (or compact license within 90 days of hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to providing direct patient care. The department may also require Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). A Bachelor's degree in nursing and two years of general nursing experience are preferred, with two years of specialty experience being a plus.
