Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop nursing interventions for medical and psychiatric concomitants in treatment
- check_circleEnsure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and state nursing board regulations
- check_circleResolve patient problems using multidisciplinary strategies and de-escalation techniques
- check_circleProvide clinical direction to staff and evaluate the level of care provided on assigned shifts
- check_circleMentor new staff and assist with essential training for nursing personnel
- check_circleRespond appropriately to all Code Calls and report unsafe or unusual safety issues
- check_circleConduct accurate assessments for newly admitted patients including fall risk and SBQR evaluations
- check_circleCoordinate with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams to develop and maintain individualized care plans
- check_circlePerform safe detox assessments using COWS and CIWAS tools
- check_circleMaintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
- check_circlePromote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients on conditions and self-care
- check_circleAssist in developing discharge plans and educating patients on post-discharge care requirements
Requirements
- verifiedAssociates Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
- verifiedCurrent RN License in State of operations required
- verifiedCPR and First Aid Certified
- verifiedCARN encouraged
- verifiedWorking knowledge of EMR
