The Link is a community triage center located in Sioux Falls, dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing non-violent behavioral health crises, seeking treatment for substance abuse disorders, or searching for essential support services. As a vital community resource, The Link bridges the gap between crisis and care, meeting immediate needs for critical services and linking patients to long-term solutions for their mental health and substance abuse challenges.
You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team built on compassion with the goal of "Moving Health Forward." In this role, you will thrive in an active, challenging environment that demands critical thinking and autonomous professional nursing practice. Your day-to-day involves providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends while navigating withdrawal management, observation for intoxicated individuals, and crisis stabilization.
You will collaborate closely with physicians, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Paramedics, Triage Techs, Social Workers, and Behavioral Health Techs. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of approximately 20 staff members and features a self-scheduling program to support work-life balance.
