About the Role

This per diem Registered Nurse (RN) position is based at Phillipsburg Care Now. The role is designed to support the urgent care team by covering holidays, vacations, call-outs, and weekend shifts. The RN delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across their entire lifespan, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and document care effects.

In this urgent care setting, you will treat occupational health patients—including physicals, drug screens, and injury care—as well as individuals arriving with acute illnesses or injuries. You will work cooperatively with ancillary staff, nursing teams, and other patient-care personnel to maintain professional nursing standards. All functions are performed in accordance with the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and the Department of Nursing's philosophy.
