About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Emergency Department at a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center in Syracuse, NY. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment, providing high-acuity emergency care specifically for pediatric patients.

In this position, you will be the first point of contact for critical pediatric cases, performing rapid assessments and triage to ensure patients receive timely intervention. Your day will involve collaborating closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to manage emergency and trauma situations. You will be responsible for administering treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and educating families regarding care plans, all while maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols and patient flow standards.
