Kindred Hospital Seattle – First Hill is an 80-bed long-term acute care hospital located in the heart of downtown Seattle. We offer the same in-depth care found in traditional hospitals but are designed for extended recovery periods. Surrounded by shops and restaurants within walking distance, our facility partners with your physician to provide 24-hour clinical care seven days a week, supporting your journey to wellness.
As a Registered Nurse at Kindred Hospital Seattle, you will serve as a vital link in the continuum of care, providing planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. In this fast-paced clinical environment, you will develop comprehensive nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.
Your day will involve assessing and reassessing patient conditions, including pain management, and communicating critical changes to physicians and management. You will direct and supervise nursing care, delegating tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities while ensuring all documentation meets nursing standards. Beyond clinical duties, you will act as a liaison between administration, patients, and families, addressing psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs while participating in discharge planning and the orientation of new personnel.
ScionHealth offers a comprehensive benefits package for benefit-eligible employees, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness programs.
