We are seeking compassionate and experienced nursing professionals for our Registered Nurse II (RN) position on our Evening and Night Shifts. As the second level in the nursing series, this role involves assuming supervision of an assigned unit staff while fostering collaboration across the care team.
In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to a culturally diverse veteran population, evaluating medications and treatment regimens, and guiding the performance of LPNs, CNAs, and administrative staff. You will serve as a vital link between patients, families, and the medical team, offering psychosocial support as residents navigate emotional, mental, and physical challenges. The role requires you to maintain regulatory compliance, facilitate instruction to nursing personnel, and actively participate in program planning and development.

At least two (2) years of supervisory experience. At least one (1) year of experience as a charge nurse in a long-term care environment. Proficient understanding of the principles and practices of geriatric nursing, dementia, hospice, and modern long-term care. Knowledge of standard nursing policies and other methods/techniques, and emergency procedures. Capacity to maintain accurate records and exercise discretion in handling confidential information. Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of quality care, health and safety approach. Proficient usage of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
