About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, circulating and/or scrubbing for surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining strict sterile technique. This role exists to bridge the gap between clinical needs and facility operations, ensuring efficient case flow and quality outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader surgical team to coordinate care, manage accurate documentation, and deliver safe, evidence-based treatment before, during, and after surgical procedures. From preparing the OR and verifying equipment to monitoring patient status and administering medications, you will be a vital part of the interdisciplinary team. The position also involves educating patients and families on perioperative processes and participating in quality improvement and ongoing clinical education.
