Novant Health is dedicated to providing a diverse, safe, and supportive environment where healthcare professionals can drive innovation and achieve meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Across our southeastern U.S. facilities, we are committed to advancing patient-centered care through evidence-based practices and a culture of professional growth.
As a Registered Nurse on our Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will serve as a vital partner in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting. Your primary mission is to deliver safe, high-quality pre- and post-operative nursing care, ensuring every patient receives personalized, culturally sensitive support aligned with our core values.
In this role, you will guide patients through their perioperative journey, from thorough initial assessments and health history verification to post-procedure recovery and discharge planning. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate efficient, safe care. Your day will involve administering medications and IV therapies, monitoring vital signs and pain levels, and providing essential education to patients and families regarding wound care, activity restrictions, and follow-up protocols. You will also play an active role in patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts, maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and clinical excellence.
Candidates interested in joining our team are encouraged to apply directly through our careers portal. The selection process typically involves a review of qualifications, followed by an interview with the hiring manager to discuss clinical experience and team fit. Successful candidates will be invited to complete necessary background checks and credentialing prior to onboarding.
