The medical floor is a 26-bed unit dedicated to providing exceptional care to adult patients. The team primarily treats individuals with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, while also caring for observation patients who require shorter hospital stays.
As a Registered Nurse on this team, you will assume full responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This is a full-time, night shift position where every day brings unique challenges. You will utilize the nursing process, leveraging technology and evidence-based practice to deliver therapeutic interventions. Your role involves coordinating care with interdisciplinary health team members, overseeing care delivered by LPNs and CNAs, and participating in clinical team conferences to ensure the best interests of patients and their families are met.
