About the Unit
As a Hematology/Oncology Nurse in our 32-bed inpatient unit, you will deliver comprehensive care to patients with cancer in various stages, including solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Your role involves administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapies while managing illness and treatment-related symptoms. We believe that patient and family involvement are essential components of holistic care, and you will provide education and exceptional support throughout each patient's unique cancer journey.
Our dedicated team works as an interdisciplinary group alongside Physicians, LNAs, Oncology Pharmacists, Social Workers, Case Managers, Palliative Care Specialists, Clinical Dietitians, PTs, and RTs to ensure the best possible care. We actively support and encourage all nurses to expand their knowledge and strengthen their skills through certifications, conferences, and courses. Additionally, nurses have the opportunity to advance their careers through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP).
