About the Role
As a Registered Nurse II, you will be a key member of our nursing staff, providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care to diverse populations. This role is designed for a professional who demonstrates competent clinical judgment and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate comprehensive nursing care, performing thorough patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and administering medications and treatments.
Your day will involve collaborating closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality care. You will advocate for patients and families, providing education on diagnoses and self-care to promote optimal health outcomes. Additionally, you will act as a clinical resource for less experienced staff, participating in precepting and mentoring to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Aligned with our commitment to continuous improvement, you will actively engage in quality and performance improvement initiatives, participate in unit-based councils, and incorporate evidence-based practices into daily care. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations are essential to this position.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtained within specified timeframe after hire
- verifiedPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as applicable to unit
- verifiedCompletion of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- verifiedSpecialty nursing certification (e.g., CCRN, CMSRN, or equivalent) preferred
