About the Role
The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care on a nursing unit or department according to unit policies and procedures. This role involves providing supervision of non-RN personnel on the assigned unit and may require working on other nursing units based on staff and patient distribution.
In this position, you will function as a preceptor to new staff and serve as a charge nurse when required. The role demands a high level of service and specific competency in the care of neuro patients, including airway management, tracheostomy care, and the use of equipment such as halo braces and ventilators. You will also play a key role in the 'TIA' teaching program and assist physicians during special neuro procedures.

Requirements
