As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will support your unique calling in patient care while fitting your life with clear pathways to advance. In this position, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate care for high-acuity patients, including those with severe heart or lung failure. A key component of the role involves operating and monitoring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) circuits. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission, develop and revise plans of care, and document the outcomes of nursing interventions. Your day will involve administering medications, managing IV fluids, reviewing physician orders, and providing educational materials to patients and families to ensure continuity of care during shift handoffs.
