The Hope Center Oncology Practice is a specialized outpatient oncology unit located in Asheville, NC, dedicated to providing personalized, long-term care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses and treatment. Our team includes surgeons, medical oncologists, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, Medical Assistants, and Schedulers who work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive and compassionate cancer care.
As a member of Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare, we serve as the regional tertiary and quaternary care center in Western North Carolina. Mission Hospital is a Magnet® designated hospital for nursing excellence and the region's only trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital. We are proud to be recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
This Registered Nurse position is designed for compassionate and adaptable professionals looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of oncology patients. Unlike acute care settings, our patients often remain with us for the duration of their cancer journey—from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. This unique continuity allows nurses to build lasting, supportive relationships and witness the tangible difference their care makes over time.
In this role, you will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care for patients and their families. You will implement medically prescribed interventions while serving as an integral member of the care team. Providers at the Hope Center work side-by-side with nursing staff, encouraging input, shared decision-making, and professional growth.
Our culture fosters a strong sense of camaraderie where mutual respect and a shared mission of compassionate care guide our daily work. We value nurses who are eager to learn, flexible in the face of change, and possess a deep heart for patient-centered care. While oncology experience is a plus, your attitude, compassion, and commitment are what matter most.
Our Talent Acquisition team is currently reviewing applications for this full-time, day-shift position. We encourage you to submit your application today to join a team that values your contributions and allows you to walk alongside patients through some of life's most important moments.
Mission Health is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone can thrive.
