Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people across central, western, and Midcoastal Maine. Our network includes Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital, alongside the Central Maine Medical Group. We are home to specialized centers such as the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center, and LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, all dedicated to providing high-quality clinical services to our community.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in our Emergency Department is the cornerstone of patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role exists to ensure safe, rapid, and critical clinical decision-making for patients facing acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening conditions. You will be responsible for the full nursing process—from assessment and planning to implementation and evaluation—while managing triage, administering emergency treatments, and communicating effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. This is a night shift position (7p-7a) designed for nurses who thrive on the energy and urgency of emergency medicine.
A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available for qualified candidates, with eligibility and payout terms discussed during the interview process. The specific details of the bonus will be reviewed as part of your candidacy evaluation.
