As a Registered Nurse and Clinical Coordinator for our ICU/IMCU, you will serve as a vital liaison to support clinical care, promote patient safety, and ensure high-quality treatment for a diverse patient population ranging from infants to seniors. This role exists to bridge the gap between clinical execution and operational excellence, ensuring the Critical Care Department runs smoothly while maintaining a focus on the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of our patients and their families.
In this position, you will assist in the coordination of planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Your day will involve clinical rounding to respond to staff assistance needs, collaborating with the Director of Critical Care on departmental operations, and participating in policy decisions that affect service delivery. You will also play a key role in staff development by coordinating orientation, competency reviews, and ongoing educational programs. Beyond clinical oversight, you will help manage staffing plans to ensure reasonable working conditions and coordinate compliance with regulatory agencies.
