About the Role
In this position, you will be the cornerstone of patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and case managers. Your day will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care while educating patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and self-care strategies. You will navigate varying facility procedures and patient populations, demonstrating flexibility as you float between units or adapt to different clinical environments.
This role is designed for professionals who thrive in dynamic settings. You will participate in handoffs, huddles, and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless care transitions, while also supporting the orientation of new staff and travelers. By maintaining accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system and adhering to strict infection control and safety guidelines, you will help foster a collaborative environment where patient safety is paramount.
