About the Team
Our oncology unit is dedicated to providing professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness. As an essential member of the patient's care team, the primary nurse functions through the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. The role emphasizes care coordination, telephone triage, patient education, and preparation for continuing care during and following care transitions.
