About the Role

You will serve as a Registered Nurse in the Adult Psych Intermediate Care department at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS. Working the night shift on a part-time basis, your primary mission is to lead the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to ensure every patient receives a seamless, well-integrated care experience from admission to recovery.

In this role, you will create and adapt personalized patient care plans, continuously monitoring progress to ensure medical interventions are achieving the best possible health outcomes. A key part of your day involves supporting the patient's transition home by assessing and managing discharge needs, ensuring families are prepared and confident for the next stage of the healing journey. You will execute physician and nursing orders with precision, maintaining a high standard of clinical excellence and safety in accordance with organizational protocols.
