We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work in the NICU in the Family Birth Place. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed by a multidisciplinary care team that includes board-certified neonatologists, certified pediatric physician assistants, and neonatal nurses.
At Hartford Healthcare, our Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. We offer our Graduate Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as they complete the Nurse Residency program. Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, you will utilize evidence-based practices to develop a plan of care for a complex, multi-varianced population of patients. This role involves meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.
The Hospital of Central CT doesn't just take great care of our patients; we take great care of our Registered Nurses too! Our benefit options are designed so you can care for yourself and your family, just as you care for others when you are here. We are focused on supporting our colleagues with automatic enrollment into the Nurse Residency Program for all graduate RNs with less than one year of experience, tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, and a strong focus on promoting mental health through employee assistance and wellness programs.
