Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, you will utilize these practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
This position involves developing a plan of care for a complex, multi-varianced population of patients, meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family. For Graduate Registered Nurses, we offer clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as they complete the Nurse Residency program, with automatic enrollment for all graduate RNs with less than one year of experience. You will care for a full patient assignment with an expanding scope of responsibilities over time, acting as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed.

This position is located at 100 Grand Street, New Britain (10126). The role is a 24-hour day shift, scheduled every 3rd weekend and every other holiday.
