We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within the Family Birth Place. This unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including board-certified neonatologists, certified pediatric physician assistants, and neonatal nurses dedicated to the care of premature and sick newborns.
In this role, you will practice at the top of your license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive plans of care for a complex, multi-varianced patient population, addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families. The Hospital of Central CT is committed to supporting our nurses, offering opportunities to grow through the Nurse Residency Program for graduates with less than one year of experience, which includes clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities.
At Hartford HealthCare, we take great care of our patients and our colleagues. Our benefits are designed so you can care for yourself and your family just as you care for others. We offer automatic enrollment into the Nurse Residency Program, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250, loan forgiveness for qualifying student loans, and a strong focus on mental health through employee assistance and wellness programs. Additional perks include paid time off, health insurance packages, free on-site parking, and discounts on services and products.
To apply, please submit your application through the Hartford HealthCare careers portal. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview process to discuss their experience and fit within our multidisciplinary team.
