We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within the Family Birth Place. This unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including board-certified neonatologists, certified pediatric physician assistants, and neonatal nurses dedicated to the care of premature and sick newborns.
In this role, you will practice at the top of your license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of complex patient populations. The Hospital of Central CT is committed to supporting your growth; graduate RNs are automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program, receiving clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as they transition into their careers.
At Hartford HealthCare, we take great care of our patients and our colleagues. We offer a robust benefits package designed so you can care for yourself and your family, just as you care for others. Additional perks include free on-site parking, paid time off, health insurance, and discounts on services ranging from movie tickets to pet insurance.
To apply, please submit your application through the Hartford HealthCare careers portal. Qualified candidates will be reviewed by Nursing Leadership, and selected applicants will be invited to discuss their experience and fit for the NICU team. We look for professionals who demonstrate strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-reliability environment.
