About the Role

At Hartford Healthcare, we are focused on supporting our colleagues. Our Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, you will utilize these practices to develop a plan of care for a complex, multi-varianced population of patients. This includes meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.

We take great care of our Registered Nurses too! Our Graduate Registered Nurses receive clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as they complete the Nurse Residency program. Location and Schedule

This position is based at 100 Grand Street, New Britain (10126). The shift is Day shift, 7:00a-7:30p, covering every 3rd weekend and every other holiday.

  • check_circleAct as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed to support team operations
  • check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate positive patient outcomes
  • check_circleApply evidence-based nursing practices in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies

Requirements

  • verifiedGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • verifiedAssociate's degree in Nursing
  • verifiedOne year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse
