About the Role
At Hartford Healthcare, we are focused on supporting our colleagues. Our Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. Under the general direction of Nursing Leadership and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, you will utilize these practices to develop a plan of care for a complex, multi-varianced population of patients. This includes meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.
We take great care of our Registered Nurses too! Our Graduate Registered Nurses receive clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as they complete the Nurse Residency program. This role allows you to care for a full patient assignment with an expanding scope of responsibilities over time, acting as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed.

Location and Schedule
This position is located at 100 Grand Street, New Britain (10126). The shift is a Day shift from 7:00a to 7:30p, working every 3rd weekend and every other holiday.

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's degree in Nursing; One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse; Registered Nurse, State of CT; Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA); and Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.
