About the Role

Based at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, this full-time Registered Nurse position within the Neurology department provides direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting. The role operates on a days shift schedule and requires an onsite presence.

You will utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, optimizing outcomes while maximizing available resources. This position demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor and communicate patient conditions, collaborating across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals. Additionally, you will evaluate learning needs to provide appropriate patient and family education and may precept student nurses and new hires.
