About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. In this role, you will be responsible for assuring quality nursing care for our patients by strictly following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include administering all medications (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous) as ordered and leading, guiding, and supervising nursing assistants and orderlies.
You will work closely with physicians during rounds, assisting with physical examinations and treatments as necessary. The role requires performing scheduled treatments, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to all regulations regarding cleanliness, infection control, and Standard/Universal Precautions. Additionally, you will assist with research related to the quality of nursing care, manage records for new admissions, and ensure that patient annual physicals and documentation are completed in a timely manner.
