The Northeast Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clarke County Health Department. As a member of this team, you will join a passionate group of public health professionals dedicated to making a tangible impact on the lives of Georgians.
This position serves as a vital link in providing professional nursing care to the general public. You will work under general supervision to deliver services across a wide range of programs, including immunization, WIC, Family Planning, Women's Health, Diabetes, Hypertension, STD, and TB prevention.
Your day will involve assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, providing treatments, and educating patients and families. You will also perform outreach services and key preventive health initiatives within the community. The ideal candidate excels in high-quality patient care and possesses strong computer skills to effectively manage electronic health records and digital healthcare tools.
While the role is based at the Clarke County Health Department, travel to other health departments or clinics within District 10 may be required. You will also be expected to function as part of a collaborative team, providing direct client services in a clinic setting and caring for populations with special needs during emergencies or biological and chemical protocols.
