Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Salem, OR. As a Company Driver, you will operate a day cab tractor with 42' and 48' flatbed trailers, delivering solo to Oregon, Washington, and the northern tip of California. The role involves handling freight that requires touching, strapping, and unstrapping. You will have access to trailer-mounted forklifts, and Ryder provides comprehensive training on all equipment needed to be successful. Trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 roadside maintenance. Drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
Your schedule runs Monday through Friday, starting at 5:00 AM, with 40 to 50 hours per week. You will earn an hourly rate of $27.51, plus a per diem of $36.05 per night for 1 to 2 nights out per week. Drivers are treated as the "Captain," empowered to make safety decisions with job protection.
