Under the direction of SCN and JEWISHcolorado, the Regional Security Advisor (RSA) serves as a vital representative, security advisor, liaison, and training coordinator for the Colorado Jewish community. This role exists to provide strategic direction and maintain oversight for the development, organization, and implementation of comprehensive security programs.
In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for security plans and policies, ranging from emergency communication systems to physical security protocols. You will act as a bridge between the community and local, state, and federal law enforcement, coordinating on both physical and cyber safety matters. During crisis response and mitigation efforts, you will serve as a liaison to assist local incident commanders or step in as an incident commander yourself. Your day-to-day involves monitoring intelligence related to terrorism and public safety, conducting threat and hazard assessments, and providing ongoing training and education to a wide range of community groups, including synagogues, schools, and community centers.
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to pass criminal, financial, and reputational/conduct background checks. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance of at least a SECRET level.
