We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated Outside Sales Professional to join our team in the Watertown Market Area. Reporting to a Region Sales and Business Development Manager, you will independently prospect, develop, and nurture relationships with businesses and industry entities.
This role is critical as we expand our national footprint and make strides toward a sustainable, clean energy future. You will act as the face of Suburban Propane, championing a positive, professional image to create customer goodwill and foster referrals. Your day-to-day will involve developing new sales leads through targeted calling, visits, trade shows, and mailings. You will negotiate and close new sales contracts to achieve year-over-year customer base growth while actively participating in industry organizations to build a professional network.
You will partner with Regional Management and the National Accounts group to pursue significant business opportunities and follow up with new accounts to ensure satisfaction and fulfillment. While industry knowledge is preferred, we provide training on oil and gas-fired appliances and related distribution systems, making this an excellent opportunity for those with strong sales skills eager to learn our business.
