System Transport has been hauling what builds America since 1972. We combine the resources of a large company with the personal feel of a small business, serving as a home for drivers who want to keep the country running. Our mission is to transport essential goods and materials—including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals—across the western region and beyond.
As a Flatbed CDL-A Driver, you will operate our modern fleet on regional, local, dedicated, or over-the-road (OTR) routes. You will be responsible for transporting critical materials that support American infrastructure. This role requires physical capability to tarp approximately 70% of loads, which involves lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform.
We prioritize your safety and comfort by providing the newest flatbed trucks equipped with cutting-edge technology, including lane departure and forward collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Our maintenance standards are rigorous; no truck leaves the shop until it is 100% ready for the road. Drivers also have access to our award-winning Driver Portal app, offering 24/7 support, real-time trip updates, and direct access to pay and PTO information.
To join our team, you must have a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and possess a safe driving record. We require a background check, a clean drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse result. Candidates must have at least 4 months of driving experience and no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
We understand that changing jobs is difficult, which is why we offer a $1,800 Transition Package to support your move. The process includes:
