This position serves as the operational backbone of our gastroenterology practice, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, physicians, and ancillary services. As a Referral Coordinator, you will manage the entire patient journey from the initial inquiry through to procedure scheduling and follow-up care. The role is critical in maintaining high-quality patient experiences while supporting the efficiency of our endoscopy suites and hospital partnerships.
You will act as a primary liaison between our office, referring physicians, and hospitals, ensuring that all patient information is accurately documented and that scheduling aligns with physician preferences and availability. This role requires a high degree of adaptability, as you will be cross-trained in various front-office functions and may travel to different locations within the Metro area to provide coverage as needed.
Our practice is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-standard care in gastroenterology. The team operates with a focus on precision, efficiency, and patient comfort. In this environment, every interaction counts, and your ability to balance administrative rigor with a warm, professional demeanor directly impacts patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Interested candidates should submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their relevant experience in specialty clinic or gastroenterology settings. Selected applicants will be contacted for an initial screening interview, followed by a practical assessment of scheduling and communication skills, and a final meeting with the Practice Manager.
