As a Red Cell Analyst at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in Fort Belvoir, VA, you will serve as a critical partner in assessing national and military missions. Your primary mission is to challenge assumptions by characterizing adversaries and identifying vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. You will operate at the intersection of intelligence analysis and strategic planning, ensuring that defense strategies are robust against complex, evolving threats.
In this role, you will not only gather and analyze information but also synthesize findings to support vulnerability identification and risk mitigation. You will contribute to threat emulation by developing assessment strategies and conducting research on publically available information (PAI) to determine adversary courses of action. Your work directly informs the development of courses of action that adversaries might employ against personnel, equipment, networks, and supply chains.
Your day-to-day involves conducting field assessments from an adversary perspective in conjunction with DoD Red Team partners. You will prepare comprehensive activity reports, including senior leader briefs, white papers, and after-action reviews, to convey critical assessment findings to customers and stakeholders. By fusing findings from various specialists with systems analysis, you will determine the broader impacts on national security missions.
Candidates selected for this position must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. The application process involves a review of qualifications against the specific intelligence and analytical expertise required for the role. Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in analyzing complex technical and contractual data, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
