About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products flow smoothly from the truck to the shelf. Your work directly impacts the store's ability to serve the community with the products they need.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure the sales floor is attractive and accessible. You will also perform inventory counts and maintain the organization of both the warehouse and the sales floor.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus is on handling large shipments and preparing the store for opening the night before, ensuring everything is set for the next day's business. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are important.
