About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency and visual appeal of the store. This position is responsible for the end-to-end management of inventory flow, ensuring that products are received, organized, and displayed accurately and efficiently. The role supports the store's mission to provide excellent customer service by keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized and well-stocked.
Day in the Life
The daily routine involves receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory in the stockroom. Stockers are expected to stock shelves, build product displays, and perform inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Overnight shifts focus on handling large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening the next day. This position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks to move merchandise effectively.
