About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational flow of the store. This position is responsible for ensuring that inventory is received, organized, and ready for customers. The role involves a mix of warehouse management and sales floor support, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Day in the Life
Stockers and Receivers are tasked with receiving shipments and unloading trucks. A significant portion of the work involves organizing inventory in the stockroom and stocking shelves to ensure product availability. The role also includes building product displays, performing inventory counts, and keeping both the warehouse and sales floor organized.
Overnight shifts focus on handling large shipments, extensive stocking, and preparing the store for opening the next day. This position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks to move merchandise efficiently.
