Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing stock, and ensuring shelves are fully stocked. Your work ensures that our sales floor is always prepared for the next day's business.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves, building product displays, and maintaining product displays, and performing inventory counts. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of your daily routine.

Overnight shifts focus on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening. This position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks.
