About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you will be responsible for the backbone of our retail operations: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory, and ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of service and product availability that our customers expect.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. You will also stock shelves, build product displays, perform inventory counts, and keep both the warehouse and sales floor organized. Overnight shifts focus on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening. The position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks.
