About the Role
As a Receiver, you will be the first point of contact for merchandise entering the store. Your primary mission is to ensure that all received goods are accurately checked in and verified against invoices. This role is vital to keeping our operations running smoothly and our backroom organized.
In this position, you will work closely with the Store Director, Assistant Store Director, and Grocery Manager. Your day involves a blend of logistical precision and customer engagement. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring the backroom remains secure and tidy, and staying up to date with the latest product knowledge. Additionally, you will uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service by adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies and maintaining an honest, ethical relationship with team members, vendors, and suppliers.
